Hmmmm. Darky. I am confused.

First of all, I continue to have rather naughty thoughts about Smooch Boy, and I will hope we get to rename him Fling Boy at some point in the future. But who knows when I'll see him again.

Which brings me to Darky. Oh, sweet Darky. He is just so nice to me, so adoring, such a gentleman. We do have a fun time together. But I'm still not sure how attracted I am to him. Loverville assures me that I don't have to know at this point, after 3 dates, what I want to happen with this guy in the future. For now, I would go on another date with him. And if he wants to have a "talk" or something, then I'll be honest. This isn't a guy I would like to date exclusively, and I won't lead him on otherwise.

But, it's not like he's complaining about the smooching.

True -- we always feel the need to know "where are we? where are we going?" -- even if we're not saying that aloud to the guy. (perish the thought!)

Who knows? Maybe HE just wants to have fun for now as well. You just don't know. It's early.

Think of it this way: if it's weighing down on you enough, you could always initiate the "talk" with him. Awkward, sure... but at least you'd have it out there.

This sort of thing is very annoying to us "good guys." If Darky wasn't so adoring, wasn't such a gentleman, was a bit elusive and unpredictable, you'd be more attracted to him, right?

Walt, I get it, but no--in fact, it's his sweetness that has me sticking around. Some of my concerns are physical, I will admit--I'm not sure I'm attracted enough to him physically. Also, I'm not too crazy about his sense of humor. But I love that he's a "good guy." Promise. Please don't stop being the good guy!!!
